Steps in the Right Direction has offered sober living in Northridge since 2000. Our women’s home, Aura House, sits in the quiet Country Estates neighborhood of Northridge, and our men’s home, Arminta House, is just to the south in neighboring Winnetka.
Both homes give you a structured, substance-free place to live while you work, go to school, attend meetings or continue outpatient treatment. Private and semi-private rooms start at $1,800 per month, pets are welcome (house pet policy applies), and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is accepted.

- Getting around: the Northridge Metrolink station on Wilbur Avenue connects to Union Station on the Ventura County Line on weekdays, and Metro bus lines run along Reseda Boulevard and Tampa Avenue.

Aura House has eight bedrooms and six bathrooms, a pool and jacuzzi, a gourmet kitchen and several shared living spaces. Live-in management, weekly house meetings, random drug and alcohol testing and shared chores keep the home safe and give each resident a routine to build on.
